The Humming Dragon
One day my dad and I went to the shops to get some vegetables and fruit but something caught my eye. I told dad I would wait outside and I saw something up on the roof of the shop. I read a book when I go to bed. I read about a humming dragon. I looked at it for a while and then screamed out loud,“ It is real !!” I was so excited and I got my dad to show him, but the humming dragon flew away. Dad said, “What is it?” From that day I never saw it again, or did I ?? Mr and Mrs Ritson
Mr and Mrs Ritson are two mean and horrible people who lived in a normal street and a normal house but they were no normal people. Mrs Ritson was quit a twit some times, well not even sometimes, she was always a twit. Mr Ritson was not much better than she was. Mr Ritson was very cruel to Mrs Ritson. He played horrible tricks on her. One day, after he had been walking down the street, so he could get some stuff for his pie he has every Friday, he saw a hair spray bottle for only half price. An evil plan came to his mind. He brought the hair spray and when he got home he emptied the bottle and put oil into it and said he had bought Mrs Ritson a new bottle of hair spray. Mrs Ritson was very pleased. That night she decided that she would go out for dinner, so she went up the stairs to get ready. Mrs Ritson normally never went for dinner so she had nothing to wear. She put on an old ragged shirt and pants. Mrs Ritson went to do her hair. Mr Ritson heard a horrible scream coming from upstairs as his wife put the yellow hair spray in her hair (that was really oil) and realized that Mr Ritson had done it on purpose. Mrs Ritson did not like it at all. She knew that he was starting a war. She decided to play a prank on Mr Ritson to pay him back. The soapy Toothpaste One morning Mrs Ritson snuck down stairs to the bathroom. She was going to smother soap all over Mr Ritson’s toothbrush. She did just that and snuck back to bed. After Mr Ritson woke up and had breaky he went to do his teeth. He put the toothpaste on the toothbrush and put water on it. He started to brush his teeth then spat it out. “Yuck!” he screamed. After a while Mr Ritson realized that he just had been tricked by his wife. So one night Mr Ritson had an idea. He woke up he carried Mrs Ritson down into the garden. She slept heavily so Mr Ritson could do this trick quite easily. He wanted to stick Mrs Ritson in the tree forever. He had brought some especially strong glue with him and stuck Mrs Ritson’s hands to the tree. As he was climbing down he didn’t realize he had got some glue on his hands too. All of a sudden his hand got stuck. He tried to use his other had to pull it off but that hand got stuck too! So both of them were stuck in the tree forever! No-one ever found them and so they couldn’t do any more bad things. And that's what you get for being mean to each other!! Once upon a time there lived a family called the Disgustings.
Even though their surname was ‘Disgusting’ they were really just nice, normal people. Mr and Mrs Disgusting had a baby named Emily and a boy named Mr Guy. They both went to Disgusting Primary School. One Sunday Mr Disgusting got up 9:00 to get dressed for Sunday Study Day. He jumped in his red Mazda and drove to away. Mrs Disgusting got up to feed Emily porridge and her bottle. She lifted Emily out of her cot and got her highchair from the changing room and carried it into the kitchen. She grabbed Emily a bib with flowers on it and sat Emily down in her highchair. Then Mrs Disgusting grabbed banana porridge and blueberry juice for breakfast. Mrs Disgusting cooked eggs for her Sunday breakfast. Then Mr Disgusting arrived home and was straight onto Mrs Disgusting about a new look for the old treehouse. Mrs Disgusting agreed with everything he said. After baby Emily ate her breakfast and drank her blueberry juice Mrs Disgusting lifted her out of her highchair and walked to the changing room to change her nappy. She slid out a drawer from the change table with Emily’s outfits in it. Mrs Disgusting chose a very a pretty pink dress with flowers on it and put the dress on baby Emily. Mrs Disgusting left baby Emily’s hair out for town and found a pretty headband with pink flowers on it. Mrs Disgusting and baby Emily waved goodbye to Mr Disgusting and set off for town. When baby Emily and Mrs Disgusting arrived at town Mrs Disgusting spotted a baby shop so she and baby Emily went into the shop and bought baby wipes, toys and a nappy bag. She also spotted a baby bottle for Emily and paid for it all. Next Mrs Disgusting and baby Emily went to a Chemist To buy baby powder, milk powder and new dummies and new outfits. Mrs Disgusting paid for the stuff and put it in the boot of the car and they headed home. Mr Disgusting helped Mrs Disgusting carry and unpack the stuff in the changing room. Meanwhile Mr Guy was in his room studying Seals. Mr Disgusting cleaned the deck while Mrs Disgusting vacuumed baby Emily’s cot and collected Ivy’s mum’s baby Olivia to babysit her. They gave Olivia and Emily a bubble bath and Mrs Disgusting painted their nails light blue aqua and put Olivia to bed. She dressed Emily in a pink, bunny romper suit, grabbed a matching dummy, put her in her crib and gently rocked her to sleep. The next morning Mrs Disgusting made rainbow pancakes for breakfast with multi coloured ice cream. Mr Guy loved them but Emily and Olivia were too little for pancakes and ice cream so they had oats, warm milk and a bottle. After breakfast Ivy’s mum picked up little Olivia. They all said goodbye and everyone had a lovely day. |
